“Only by bringing you closer to my soul will we be able deconstruct the exoticised Arab narrative which currently still dominates.” – Priscilla Doueihy, BetweenEast

REVIEWS

“You haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen an orgy scene with one person playing two of its participants at once (credit where it’s due to Priscilla Doueihy)” – TimeOut

“The racially-blind casting is laudable; so too, is the decision to make Peter Trofimov, the firebrand student and paramour of Ranevskaya’s daughter Anya (Kirsty Marillier), into Petya – a role swung out of the park by Priscilla Doueihy – flipping dynamics and adding layers of textured complexity.” The Arts Hub
