Zach McGowan

Zach is currently recurring on the Amazon Prime hit series THE BOYS as well as their spinoff series GEN V. He is known for playing ‘Captain Charles Vane’ in the hit Starz series BLACK SAILS, produced by Michael Bay, as well as his work on Showtime’s Emmy nominated series SHAMELESS, opposite William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum – playing the hilarious boyfriend ‘Jodie’ to Joan Cusack for 3 seasons. Zach was also a series regular on hit series THE 100 for Warner Brothers / THE CW, playing the role of “King Roan”. Recently, he recurred on CBS’s MACGYVER, History’s PROJECT BLUE BOOK and the second season of CBS’s BLOOD & TREASURE, and can be seen in ABC’s THE ROOKIE: FEDS. Prior, he recurred on the USA Network series DAMNATION, opposite Logan Marshall Green and Killian Scott, which was produced by David MacKenzie and James Mangold and on the first season of LA’s FINEST, opposite Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union.

On the feature side, Zach recently shot the Western Feature MURDER AT YELLOWSTONE CITY, opposite Thomas Jane, Nat Wolff and Anna Camp. He can also currently be seen in the feature films LAST CALL, opposite Jeremy Piven and Taryn Manning and SANCTIONING EVIL, directed by Ante Novakovic. He starred in feature ROBERT THE BRUCE, opposite Angus Macfadyen, Anna Hutchison and Emma Kenney – which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and was released in 2020. Previously, he was seen opposite Luke Evans and Dominic Cooper in Universal’s DRACULA UNTOLD, and he starred as the title role in Universal’s THE SCORPION KING: BOOK OF SOULS and Universal’s DEATH RACE: ANARCHY, both movies are now exclusive on Netflix. His additional feature credits include TERMINATOR SALVATION for Warner Bros and SEAL TEAM VI.
