Vinnie Bennett

Named a “Rising Star” for his performance in the feature HUMAN TRACES at the Toronto International Film Festival, Vinnie can currently be seen playing “Young Dom” (Vin Diesel) in the Universal franchise F9: THE FAST SAGA for director Justin Lin, which opened to #1 at the box office and grossed over $700 million world wide. He will next be seen in the independent feature WHINA opposite Rena Owen who plays revered Maori activist and female rights advocate Whina Cooper, an icon of New Zealand’s political history who broke gender boundaries and fought for the recognition of her own culture. Vinnie recently appeared in the TVNZ comedy series GOOD GRIEF and costarred in the NZ drama miniseries THE BAD SEED. His additional credits include the drama pilot BRECKMAN RODEO for Freeform, THE NEW ROMANTIC which won the Special Jury Award at SXSW, GHOST IN THE SHELL for DreamWorks, the NZ tele-feature RESOLVE, NZ drama series FILTHY RICH, THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES for MTV and TATAU for BBC AmericaVinnie is multi-ethnic Maori / Caucasian with European heritage.
