JONTAVIOUS JOHNSON

Being born and raised in the “A”, Jontavious has watched the entertainment industry develop throughout his city. This sparked his interest as a child and later developing that interest with training from the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta through high school and even further with receiving his Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies from Morehouse College.  He has been seen in collegiate, regional, and community theaters around Atlanta, as well as the National Black Theatre Festival in North Carolina (Jelly’s Last Jam). Recent bookings include a nice supporting role in the upcoming feature film National Champions that is being directed by Ric Roman Waugh and the recurring guest star role of ‘Stubbs’ in upcoming, season 2 of the hit Netflix series Outer Banks. Other recent bookings include a supporting lead role in Ungubani (Who Are You?) that will premiere on AMC’s Urban Movie Channel in 2021. He also had a nice guest starring role in the upcoming season of Amazon’s Modern Love.
