Best known for playing Courtney Cox’s lovable neighbor “Andy Torres” on six seasons of the ABC comedy series COUGAR TOWN for executive producer Bill Lawrence, Ian currently stars in the Freeform drama series SINGLE DRUNK FEMALE and recurs on the Apple TV+ comedy series PHYSICAL with Rose Byrne. He recently appeared in the pair of features THE ULTIMATE PLAYLIST OF NOISE for Hulu and the Lionsgate comedy BARB & STAR GO TO VISTA DEL MAR opposite Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo. Previously, Ian shot the NBC Universal comedy pilot NIGHT SCHOOL based on the Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish feature, and recurred opposite Jennifer Aniston in the first season of the Apple TV+ drama series THE MORNING SHOW. He also appeared in the Warner Bros feature RICHARD JEWELL alongside Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Olivia Wilde and Jon Hamm for director Client Eastwood and starred in the CBS comedy series LIVING BIBLICALLY for executive producer Johnny Galecki. His notable feature credits include the sequel MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING 2 for Universal, Tom Hank’s LARRY CROWNE for Universal, Donald Petrie’s MY LIFE IN RUINS for Fox Searchlight, I HATE VALENTINE’S DAY for IFC Films and Michael Lembeck’s CONNIE & DARLA for Universal. Ian’s long list of TV credits also includes SUPERGIRL, FRESH OFF THE BOAT, RITA ROCKS, JAKE IN PROGRESS, FELICITY and THE DREW CAREY SHOW. He was also co-host of THE GREAT AMERICAN BAKING SHOW, based on the hit British format, for two seasons on ABC.
