Hosea Chanchez

Can currently be seen reprising the role of “Malik Wright” in the Paramount+ comedy series THE GAME, which previously ran for nine seasons on BET and The CW. Hosea recently appeared on The CW drama ALL AMERICAN as well as the WBTV / DC Entertainment series BLACK LIGHTNING, both for executive producer Greg Berlanti. His feature credits include the drama FANATIC for BET, DOWN FOR WHATEVER for TVOne, 96 MINUTES opposite Evan Ross, David Oyelowo and Brittany Snow (nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at SXSW), and Regina King’s directorial debut LET THE CHURCH SAY AMEN for BET. On the writing / directing side, Hosea recently put up his own one-man show GOOD MOURNING at the Hudson Theatre and shot a proof-of-concept for his feature script RUTH, which he wrote to direct. The film revolves around a single father struggling to raise his daughter in inner-city Detroit after returning home from the war in Afghanistan.
