Emily Marie Palmer is best recognized for her large supporting roles as ‘Sister Isabella’ on PBS’ Civil War Drama MERCY STREET, produced by Ridley Scott, and as ‘Lisa’ in the feature film GRAND ISLE, starring Nicolas Cage and Kelsey Grammer. Often cast in period pieces, fans and friends alike often note that she seems to have stepped out of another time. In 2020, Emily was cast in a supporting lead role opposite Sam Worthington in the feature film, THE LAST SON directed by Tim Sutton and to be released in the fall of 2021. Emily also recently played a pivotal role in Season 3 of Hulu’s COBRA KAI, and a supporting role opposite Dwayne Johnson in Disney’s JUNGLE CRUISE.
Not content to sit back and wait on opportunities for meaningful storytelling to come to her, Emily writes and produces her own content. She wrote and starred in a WWII-era French and German language short film, LES CONFINÉS (2019), which Omeleto Drama called “an intimate historical drama that examines the darkest reaches of Hitler’s insidious totalitarian ideology, the twisted psychology of domestic abuse and the power of female solidarity.”
Emily is a gifted singer, guitarist, and songwriter, with a gentle, lyrical sound. Her first single “Holy Magic” will be released on iTunes and Spotify in April 2020. She revels joyfully in the beauty of life and nature, often writing songs and poetry that evoke imagery from the natural world. She is also represented by Alexander White at the Alexander White Agency (AWA).
