Dennis Renard

Winner of “Best Lead Actor in a Drama” for his performance in playwright Samuel D. Hunter’s (The Whale) production of A CASE FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD at Dezart Performs, Dennis Renard will next be seen in the independent feature BULLS opposite Michael Shannon and recently appeared in the Emmy nominated limited series THE BOOK OF QUEER for MAX/Discovery+. A graduate of UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film and Television, his extensive credits include NIGHT CITIES for Center Theatre Group, FOR THE LOVE OF A GLOVE at Carl Sagan Theatre, COME GET MAGGIE at Rogue Machine, the sold-out run of CHOIR BOY at Dezart Performs, THREE TABLES at the Zephyr Theatre, the pair of Secret Cinema experiential projects STRANGER THINGS: THE DRIVE-INTO for Netflix and ARCANE: ENTER THE UNDERCITY for Riot Games, THE CITY OF CONVERSATION at Coachella Valley Repertory, MONO/POLY at the Odyssey Theatre, APOLLO 11 at the Rose Bowl, BABY EYES with Playwrights Arena and 12 ANGRY MEN at the Laguna Playhouse. Dennis also appeared in NCIS for CBS, as well as the feature MISSISSIPPI REQUIEM opposite executive producer James Franco, Topher Grace, Amy Smart and Alicia Witt.
