A skilled martial artist with Thai / Chinese / Danish heritage, Chai will next be seen opposite Oscar winners J.K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek in the upcoming Amazon drama series LIGHTYEARS for Oscar-winning executive producer and director Juan José Campanella, as well as the eOne / ABC Australia miniseries THE NEWSREADER alongside Anna Torv and Sam Reid. He previously starred as the title role in the Netflix series THE NEW LEGENDS OF MONKEY, in which he performed his own stunts and fight choreography, recurred on SHADOWHUNTERS for FreeForm and THE 100 for CW, and played “Zac” on four seasons of the international Netflix series MAKO MERMAIDS.
